Minho river. A Navigable Destination.
The project “Rio Minho: A Navigable Destination”, which involves the municipalities of Monção and Valença and the Municipalities of Salvaterra and Tui, was presented on November 19, 2019, at the Alvarinho Museum, in Monção, with the presence of the representatives of the mentioned municipalities and of the three partner entities: Porto and North of Portugal, Directorate General of Natural Heritage of Xunta de Galicia, and Axencia de Turismo de Galicia.
“Rio Minho: A Navigable Destination” helps to cement the “Visit Rio Minho” concept, by strengthening the region's positioning in the national and international market, thus ensuring a competitive advantage in relation to other destinations.
